The Mount Street Chiropractic Centre maintains an extremely strict protocol when it comes to the management of the Corona Virus within the practice setting.
All protocols that are followed are as those stipulated and recommended by the WHO.
These include the following:
All staff maintain appropriate and recommended social distancing as well as personal sanitizing protocols.
Patients on arrival are asked before they are treated to either use the hand sanitizer provided or wash their hands with soap and water using the 20 seconds cleaning routine.
Appointment times have been modified to ensure that less clients are in the clinic at any one time so that a space of 4 square meter per person is maintained.
Door handles, desktops, tabletops, light switches and bathroom facilities and other areas of high contact are cleaned on a regular basis.
Treatment tables are sanitized after each client.
An ionize filter system which absorb and filter out 99.97% of airborne viruses and bacteria is in constant use within the clinic.
The Mount Street Chiropractic Centre also now offers a range of treatment options to accommodate all patients. These include:
“Isolation treatments”: during these times only the chiropractor and patient will be present within the practice. If absolutely required, the receptionist may also be asked to be present. These treatments are strictly by appointment and run to a very stringent timetable. You maybe ask to rebook if you re late or to wait in your car or outside the clinic if you are early.“
“Present but not seen treatments”: during this time there may be another patient in the clinic, but there will be no patient interactions. They will be isolated in another treatment room so again you will only see the chiropractor and, if required, the receptionist.
“Standard distancing treatments”: These treatments will conform to government requirements for both space and distancing. Again, we aim in this case scenario to have both treatment rooms occupied while you, as a third person, may be sitting alone in the waiting room.
During this very trying time the Mount Street Chiropractic Centre continues to maintain its focus on delivering excellent patient service which Joe Donnoli, the chiropractor, has strived to do for over 35 years.
All assessments and treatments are based on sound clinical practices and techniques and a positive client outcome is our main priority.
